Tip of the Week
When you are House Training Puppies, it is important that you always use the same route to get to the potty spot. This helps develop routine and familiarity for your dog. For example, if the location is in the backyard, always use the same entrance (like the backdoor) and walk the same path. If the location is along the walk route, always get to that spot the same way, especially in the beginning. When walking your dog, having this as part of the built in routine will help him understand what is supposed to happen at what point. Just a little tip, but sometimes it’s the little things that bring it all together. If you have a great tip, drop me an email and I’ll share it with everyone!
