House Training Puppies

House Training Puppies is a site I designed to help people who are really struggling with getting their puppies potty trained. When I got my first puppy Emma (featured at the top right) I was so in love with her! I was more interested in playing with her, and hardly noticed or cared about a few puddles on the floor here and there. I was just in love with my new puppy! After a few months though, I realized it was time to get her potty trained. I had no idea that by not house training her, I had basically “trained” her that it was OK to go on the floor.

First I got some books. I read them and tried to apply the methods. I bought a crate. I bought puppy training pads. This led to some success, but she was still having accidents every day.
